    Gong integration for Rig

The easiest way to connect Gong to Claude and other AI tools

Gong is a revenue intelligence platform that records sales calls and meetings and analyses what was said.

    What Rig syncs from Gong

Once connected, Rig models these objects so questions resolve to the right tables and joins:

    • Calls
    • CRM-linked parties
    • Topics
    • Trackers
    • Interaction stats
    • Transcripts
    • Users
    • Workspaces

    How Gong connects to Rig

Give Rig a Gong access key and secret. Rig Ingest syncs calls, CRM-linked parties, topics, trackers, interaction stats and transcripts into your warehouse on a schedule, over a rolling window you can widen.

Read the step-by-step Gong setup guide

Tie conversations to deals and accounts

Gong links each call to the CRM records its participants belong to, including Salesforce object IDs. Rig keeps those links in your warehouse, so you can join a call to its account and opportunity and see what was discussed on a deal.

    Ask Rig
    • Which calls are linked to open opportunities closing this quarter?
    • How many calls did we have with each account last month?
    • Show the calls tied to our largest open deals

Track the topics and trackers your team cares about

Topics and trackers are the themes and keywords Gong detects in a conversation, such as pricing or a named competitor. Rig stores them per call, so you can count how often each comes up and how that changes over time.

    Ask Rig
    • How often does each tracker fire in calls this quarter?
    • Which topics come up most in calls that move to the next stage?
    • Show competitor mentions by month

Read the transcripts behind the numbers

Transcripts are the full text of a call, attributed to each speaker. Rig can search across them, so a pattern in your stats can be checked against what customers said.

    Ask Rig
    • What reasons do customers give for delaying a decision?
    • Find calls where pricing was raised in the last 90 days
    • Summarise what prospects say about onboarding

    Compare rep conversation behaviour

Interaction stats are Gong's measures of how a call went, such as talk time and question counts. Rig joins them to users and calls, so you can compare reps and teams on the same footing.

    Ask Rig
    • Which reps have the longest talk time per call?
    • How do interaction stats differ between won and lost deals?
    • Show average call length by rep for the last quarter

Ask your Gong data in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Rig serves your Gong data to AI assistants over MCP. Once Gong is synced into your warehouse, you can ask questions in plain English from the tool you already use, and every answer is backed by validated, governed SQL.

    Frequently asked questions

What Gong data does Rig sync?
Workspaces, users, calls, extended call data with CRM-linked parties, topics, trackers and interaction stats, and call transcripts.
How much history does Rig pull?
By default the last 180 days of calls and the last 90 days of transcripts. You can widen either window when you connect and sync again.
What happens to calls that fall out of the window?
They stay in your warehouse. Each sync merges rows by call, so older calls are kept.
Can I query Gong calls in Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Once Gong is synced to your warehouse, Rig serves it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI tools over MCP.
