    Every tier is the same product apart from writes back into your tools, which are an add-on on Start and included on every tier above it. Going past your allowance bills at the bracket price rather than moving you up, so crossing a line never steps your bill.

    // The alternative

    The same outcome on Fivetran, Snowflake and dbt

    Priced at each vendor's own published rate, for the shape in the calculator above. Ingestion bills the rows you move, the warehouse bills a nightly rebuild whether or not anyone looks, and the AI layer bills a session that reasons inside the warehouse instead of over a context layer.

    This excludes all people cost, which is the larger half of the real answer. A conventional stack needs someone to run it, and for a smaller company that person costs more than the tools do.

    See the full Fivetran comparison
    Conventional stack, tools only
    Fivetran, ingestion$4,500

    18 connectors moving 500k active rows each, at their published $0.0005 a row

    Snowflake and dbt$1,089

    216 models rebuilt nightly at $2.84 each, plus warehouse time for the queries

    BI tool$1,050

    30 seats at $35 blended across Looker and Tableau list

    AI serving$1,349

    Snowflake Cortex at its measured median of $1.46 a session, on the 35% of questions a dashboard cannot answer

    Conventional stack$7,988 /mo
    Rig, same shape$1,114 /mo
    $6,874 a month of tooling displaced, before anybody's time.
    // Credits

    Credits get cheaper as you use more

    Priced the way S3 prices storage. Your first 150,000 credits cost $0.025 each whatever your total is, so crossing a threshold never steps your bill, it only changes the price of the next credit.

    First 150,000$0.025
    Next 250,000$0.018
    Above 400,000$0.014

    You never commit to a minimum or sign an annual contract to get the lower rate. Your bracket is whatever last month's work put you in.

    What a credit covers

    One credit is one unit across every kind of work Rig does. Nothing is billed per row, and nothing is capped by how many connectors or seats you have.

    Migration and implementation, run by Rig

    Software vendors and acquirers use us to migrate customers between platforms with PII-masked context. Compliance-grade teams use us to stand the full stack up inside their VPC. Both are quoted per engagement.

    • Managed migrations (CRM ↔ CRM, vendor ↔ vendor)
    • VPC stand-up + RBAC review
    • Custom connector build

    Credits are metered on what your jobs actually consume and billed monthly in arrears, bracket by bracket. The calculator is an estimate from the shape you describe, not a quote, and the comparison stack is priced at each vendor's published rate for the same shape. Rig runs frontier models on your behalf at the credit rate above, or you can bring your own model keys on Enterprise and private deployments, in which case that spend leaves your Rig bill entirely.
