Privacy Policy
Introduction
Rig ("we", "us") provides a data context and automation platform. This policy covers your interactions with our website at rig.so and with our team, for example, booking a demo or emailing us. How Rig handles customer data inside the product is governed by our customer agreements and any applicable data processing agreement, not by this policy.
Information we collect
When you contact us or book a demo, you give us your name, work email, the use case you describe, and anything else you choose to send. When you visit rig.so, we automatically receive standard log data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps), analytics events (such as pages viewed and links clicked), any UTM parameters and the referring page, and cookie identifiers as described below.
How we use information
To respond to demo requests and inbound messages, to communicate with you about Rig, to understand and improve the website, to detect and prevent abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and marketing measurement. Our site uses PostHog (hosted in the EU) for product analytics, Google Tag Manager for tag deployment, and Google Ads conversion tracking. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the sub-processors listed below (as needed to run the website and respond to you), with parties involved in a business transfer such as an acquisition, or where required by law. Sub-processors only receive what they need to perform their function.
Sub-processors
We engage the following third-party sub-processors to provide the Service. This list may be updated from time to time as our infrastructure evolves.
| Sub-processor | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Website hosting and content delivery (S3 + CloudFront) |
| PostHog | Product analytics |
| Google (Tag Manager and Google Ads) | Tag deployment and ad conversion measurement |
| Zapier | Routing demo-request form submissions to our team |
| Calendly | Scheduling demo calls |
Data retention
We keep information for as long as we have a reason to, for example, to follow up on your demo request, respond to your enquiry, or meet legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it.
Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please report any suspected issues to us promptly.
International transfers
We may transfer information to countries other than the one in which it was originally collected, including the United States. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place, for example, standard contractual clauses, to protect that information.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date at the top, and for material changes we will surface a notice on the site.
