Connect Workleap Officevibe to Rig

Sync Officevibe weekly engagement scores, feedback conversations, Good Vibes recognition and your people and group directory from Workleap into Rig. Free-text feedback, recognition messages, authors and phone numbers are off by default.

    Before you start

    • You need to be an administrator in Workleap. Only administrators can see the API key.
    • Your organisation must be on the current Workleap platform. Keys from the older Officevibe API are not accepted.

Step 1: Get your Workleap API key

    1. Sign in to Workleap as an administrator.
    2. Open Settings and go to the API section.
    3. Copy your organisation API key. Workleap sends it as the workleap-subscription-key header.

If the page is not where you expect
Workleap's getting started guide describes where the key lives. If your menu differs, follow that guide.

Step 2: Connect it in Rig

Adding a source needs a workspace owner, or a role with the Manage connections permission, on a workspace where you manage your own connections. If the Connectors tab says “Data ingestion for this workspace is managed by Rig”, ask an owner or Rig support to add the source.

    1. In Rig, open Connections, choose the Connectors tab and go to Sources & actions.
    2. Search for Workleap Officevibe, open the card and click Connect.
    3. Organisation API key: Paste the key you copied.
    4. Engagement history start date: Pre-filled with 2016-01-01. Leave it as it is to load all weekly scores, feedback and Good Vibes on the first sync, or set a later YYYY-MM-DD date to load less.
    5. Click Continue. Rig checks the credentials and lists the streams it can reach, so choose the ones you want and click Connect.
    6. The source then syncs on its schedule, which is nightly unless you change it. To load data straight away, click Sync on its row; Test pulls a small sample first if you want to check the connection.

    What Rig pulls in

Workleap Officevibe lands in its own workleap_officevibe schema in your warehouse:

    • People directory: users and groups.
    • Engagement scores: organisation-wide weekly scores and the same scores per team or group, plus the metric taxonomy that names each metric.
    • Feedback: feedback conversations by metric, type and label, and your custom labels.
    • Good Vibes: peer recognition cards and the Good Vibes collections.

Free-text feedback, recognition messages, feedback authors and phone numbers are off by default. You can switch each on per field.

    Good to know

    • Weekly scores are computed over a trailing survey window, so late answers move recent weeks. Rig re-reads recent weeks on every sync and merges them.
    • A key from the legacy Officevibe API fails with a 401, because that API is separate from the current Workleap one.
    • The start date only affects the first sync. Later syncs carry on from where the last one stopped.
    • To disconnect Workleap Officevibe, click the bin icon on the source's row under Sources & actions. Only whoever connected the source or a workspace owner can do this, and data already synced stays in the warehouse.

    What people use this for

    • Track engagement over time
    • Compare teams on each engagement metric
    • Read feedback volume and recognition
    • Join engagement to the people directory
