Connect Agree.com to Rig
Agree.com turns signed contracts into invoices and revenue. Rig syncs its agreements, contacts and invoices into your warehouse, so contract terms and billing sit next to the rest of your finance data. Agree.com connects with a single API key.
Before you start
- You need access to your Agree.com dashboard with permission to create API keys.
- Agree.com has test and live keys. Use a live key, because a test key returns sample data.
Step 1: Create an Agree.com API key
- Sign in to Agree.com and open Settings.
- Go to API Keys and create a key. Agree.com's reference places it at Settings > API Keys.
- Copy the key somewhere safe. Treat it like a password.
Keys are broad
Agree.com says an API key gives full access to your organisation's data, and that a compromised key should be regenerated straight away. Regenerating breaks anything else using the old key.
Step 2: Connect it in Rig
Adding a source needs a workspace owner, or a role with the Manage connections permission, on a workspace where you manage your own connections. If the Connectors tab says “Data ingestion for this workspace is managed by Rig”, ask an owner or Rig support to add the source.
- In Rig, open
Connections, choose theConnectorstab and go toSources & actions. - Search for Agree.com, open the card and click
Connect. - API key: Paste the key you copied.
- Click
Continue. Rig checks the credentials and lists the streams it can reach, so choose the ones you want and clickConnect. - The source then syncs on its schedule, which is nightly unless you change it. To load data straight away, click
Syncon its row;Testpulls a small sample first if you want to check the connection.
What Rig pulls in
Agree.com lands in its own agree_com schema in your warehouse:
- Agreements: each agreement in your account.
- Contacts: the people and companies you contract and bill.
- Invoices: invoices raised from your agreements.
Agreements and invoices are re-read in full on every sync. Contacts load incrementally by their last update time.
Good to know
- Agree.com lists results in pages of 100, so a large account takes several requests per stream.
- Because agreements and invoices are full snapshots, a change to an old record shows up on the next sync.
- To disconnect Agree.com, click the bin icon on the source's row under
Sources & actions. Only whoever connected the source or a workspace owner can do this, and data already synced stays in the warehouse.
