Connect Momentum to Rig

Sync your Momentum meetings into Rig, with full transcripts and the Salesforce account, lead and opportunity each meeting maps to. Momentum connects with an API key, but API access has to be switched on for your workspace first.

    Before you start

    • Momentum support must enable API access for your workspace before you can create a key. Ask them first.
    • You need access to the Integrations page in Momentum.

Step 1: Create a Momentum API key

    1. Ask Momentum support to turn on API access for your workspace.
    2. In Momentum, open the Integrations page and select Create API key.
    3. Copy the key and store it securely.

Step 2: Connect it in Rig

Adding a source needs a workspace owner, or a role with the Manage connections permission, on a workspace where you manage your own connections. If the Connectors tab says “Data ingestion for this workspace is managed by Rig”, ask an owner or Rig support to add the source.

    1. In Rig, open Connections, choose the Connectors tab and go to Sources & actions.
    2. Search for Momentum, open the card and click Connect.
    3. Momentum API key: paste the key you created.
    4. Click Continue. Rig checks the credentials and lists the streams it can reach, so choose the ones you want and click Connect.
    5. The source then syncs on its schedule, which is nightly unless you change it. To load data straight away, click Sync on its row; Test pulls a small sample first if you want to check the connection.

    What Rig pulls in

Momentum lands in its own momentum schema in your warehouse:

    • Meetings: meetings with the full transcript (speaker, timestamp and text) and the Salesforce account, lead and opportunity mappings.
    • Users: your Momentum users.
    • Signal prompts and signal definitions: the definitions behind Momentum's AI signals.

    Good to know

    • Momentum allows 100 requests per 15 minutes for your whole organisation, shared across every key. Rig reads only meetings newer than the last sync to stay inside that.
    • Rig does not store recording download links. Momentum's links expire after two hours, so a saved link would be dead.
    • Signal results for each meeting are not synced yet. You get the signal definitions but not each definition's executions.
    • Rig reads meetings by start time, so edits made later to an old meeting's transcript are not fetched again.
    • To disconnect Momentum, click the bin icon on the source's row under Sources & actions. Only whoever connected the source or a workspace owner can do this, and data already synced stays in the warehouse.

    What people use this for

    • Check whether the signals hold up
    • Use the CRM link that already exists
    • Look across conversations at scale
