Connect HeyReach to Rig
Sync your HeyReach LinkedIn outreach into Rig: campaigns, the LinkedIn accounts you send from, and conversations. HeyReach connects with one API key for your organisation.
Before you start
- You need access to the API settings in HeyReach.
- HeyReach issues a single API key for each organisation, so the key covers all the campaigns and accounts in it.
Step 1: Get your HeyReach API key
- Sign in to HeyReach and open
Settings, thenIntegrations, thenAPI. - Copy your API key. If you have none, generate one.
- Store the key securely.
Check the path
HeyReach's public API reference does not describe where the key lives in the app. If your menu looks different, follow HeyReach's own help or ask their support.
Step 2: Connect it in Rig
Adding a source needs a workspace owner, or a role with the Manage connections permission, on a workspace where you manage your own connections. If the Connectors tab says “Data ingestion for this workspace is managed by Rig”, ask an owner or Rig support to add the source.
- In Rig, open
Connections, choose theConnectorstab and go toSources & actions. - Search for HeyReach, open the card and click
Connect. - HeyReach API key: paste your key.
- Click
Continue. Rig checks the credentials and lists the streams it can reach, so choose the ones you want and clickConnect. - The source then syncs on its schedule, which is nightly unless you change it. To load data straight away, click
Syncon its row;Testpulls a small sample first if you want to check the connection.
What Rig pulls in
HeyReach lands in its own heyreach schema in your warehouse:
- Campaigns: your outreach campaigns.
- LinkedIn accounts: the LinkedIn accounts connected to HeyReach.
- Conversations: your LinkedIn conversations.
Good to know
- HeyReach pages its list calls by offset, and Rig reads page after page until a page comes back short.
- Regenerating the key in HeyReach stops the old one working, so update the key in Rig if you do.
- To disconnect HeyReach, click the bin icon on the source's row under
Sources & actions. Only whoever connected the source or a workspace owner can do this, and data already synced stays in the warehouse.
