# Connect Veeqo to Rig

Veeqo manages inventory, orders and shipping for multichannel sellers. Rig reads your orders, products, purchase orders, customers and the setup tables around them. It uses Veeqo's own API key.

## Before you start

- You need a Veeqo account with access to Settings and Users.
- Veeqo has to switch on API access for your account before the key option appears. If you cannot see it, contact Veeqo support.
- Veeqo recommends one user per connected app, so you can track what each integration does.

## Step 1: Generate a Veeqo API key

1. Sign in to Veeqo and go to **Settings**, then **Users**.
2. Click **Add New User** and create a user for Rig, such as one named Rig. Dummy details are fine.
3. Back on the Users page, click **Edit** next to that user.
4. Scroll to the **API key** section and click **Generate API key**.
5. Copy the key from the pop-up and click **I've copied my key**.

Veeqo shows the key once
Save it in a password manager before you close the pop-up. If you lose it, use Regenerate API key on the user, and then update Rig with the new key.

## Step 2: Connect it in Rig

New to Rig? Watch how to find Connections

Adding a source needs a workspace owner, or a role with the Manage connections permission, on a workspace where you manage your own connections. If the Connectors tab says “Data ingestion for this workspace is managed by Rig”, ask an owner or Rig support to add the source.

1. In Rig, open `Connections`, choose the `Connectors` tab and go to `Sources & actions`.
2. Search for **Veeqo**, open the card and click `Connect`.
3. **Veeqo API key**: Paste the key you generated.
4. Click `Continue`. Rig checks the credentials and lists the streams it can reach, so choose the ones you want and click `Connect`.
5. The source then syncs on its schedule, which is nightly unless you change it. To load data straight away, click `Sync` on its row; `Test` pulls a small sample first if you want to check the connection.

## What Rig pulls in

Veeqo lands in its own `veeqo` schema in your warehouse:

- **Orders**: orders from every channel Veeqo handles.
- **Products**: your product catalogue.
- **Purchase orders**: purchase orders to your suppliers.
- **Customers**: customers on your orders.
- **Setup tables**: warehouses, stores, suppliers, delivery methods and tags.

## Good to know

- Veeqo is separate from Amazon's Selling Partner API. A business that uses both connects each on its own.
- Orders and products sync incrementally on their update time. Purchase orders and the setup tables are read in full each time, and customers are re-read for the last seven days.
- Anyone with the key has full access to your Veeqo account, so keep it out of email and chat.
- To disconnect Veeqo, click the bin icon on the source's row under `Sources & actions`. Only whoever connected the source or a workspace owner can do this, and data already synced stays in the warehouse.

## What people use this for

- Analyse orders across every sales channel
- Plan purchasing from supplier orders
- Understand the product catalogue
