# Connect Jiminny to Rig

Sync your Jiminny calls, meetings, transcripts, action items and AI scorecards into Rig, so your AI tools can reason over every customer and sales conversation alongside the rest of your data. Jiminny connects with a single API key.

## Before you start

- You need an **Admin** or **Owner** role in Jiminny. Only those roles can see or generate the API key.
- Know your region. US organisations live on `app.jiminny.com`; EU organisations on `app.jiminny.eu`. The address you sign in at tells you which.

## Step 1: Get your Jiminny API key

1. Sign in to Jiminny as an Admin or Owner.
2. Go to `Organisation Settings` → `General`.
3. Find the **API Key** section and click `Generate API Key` (or `Copy` if a key already exists).
4. Copy the key somewhere safe. Treat it like a password.

One key for your whole org
The API key is organisation-wide. Regenerating it invalidates the old key and breaks any other integration using it, so only regenerate if a key is compromised.

## Step 2: Connect it in Rig

1. In Rig, open `Connections` in the left sidebar and go to `Sources & actions`.
2. Search for **Jiminny** and click its card.
3. Paste your key into **Jiminny API key**.
4. Set **Jiminny region host** to `https://app.jiminny.com` (US) or `https://app.jiminny.eu` (EU).
5. Leave **Earliest "updated" timestamp** on its default (about 150 days ago) unless you need a specific start point. Jiminny caps the activities window at six months; Rig rolls the window forward automatically on later syncs.
6. Click `Continue`, then `Test` to pull a small sample, then `Sync` to run the full pipeline.

## What Rig pulls in

Jiminny lands in its own `jiminny` schema in your warehouse:

- **Activities**: calls and meetings with metadata, transcripts, summaries, action items and AI scorecards.
- **Users**: your Jiminny team.

Jiminny rate-limits the activities endpoint to 40 requests per minute and others to 120. Rig respects those limits for you, so a first sync of a long history simply takes a few passes.

## Good to know

- The key grants access to your whole organisation's conversation data. Store it securely and never share it over email or chat.
- To pull history older than the default window, run successive syncs; Rig advances the cursor each time.
- You can disconnect Jiminny at any time from `Connections` → `Sources & actions`.
