# Connect GoAffPro to Rig

Sync the affiliates, orders, commissions and payments from your GoAffPro programme into Rig. GoAffPro is a Shopify affiliate app, and it connects with a public token and an access token that you generate in its settings.

## Before you start

- You need admin access to the GoAffPro app for your store.

## Step 1: Generate your GoAffPro API keys

1. Open the GoAffPro admin panel and go to **Settings**.
2. Open the **Developer** section (some accounts show it as **Advanced**) and find **Access Tokens**.
3. Click **New API Key**.
4. Copy the public token and the access token.

## Step 2: Connect it in Rig

New to Rig? Watch how to find Connections

Adding a source needs a workspace owner, or a role with the Manage connections permission, on a workspace where you manage your own connections. If the Connectors tab says “Data ingestion for this workspace is managed by Rig”, ask an owner or Rig support to add the source.

1. In Rig, open `Connections`, choose the `Connectors` tab and go to `Sources & actions`.
2. Search for **GoAffPro**, open the card and click `Connect`.
3. **Public token**: The public token from GoAffPro. It identifies your store.
4. **Access token**: The access token from GoAffPro. It authorises the calls.
5. Click `Continue`. Rig checks the credentials and lists the streams it can reach, so choose the ones you want and click `Connect`.
6. The source then syncs on its schedule, which is nightly unless you change it. To load data straight away, click `Sync` on its row; `Test` pulls a small sample first if you want to check the connection.

## What Rig pulls in

GoAffPro lands in its own `goaffpro` schema in your warehouse:

- **Affiliates**: your affiliate list.
- **Orders and commissions**: referred orders and the commission on each.
- **Payments**: payments made, pending payments and payment requests.
- **Coupons and rewards**: affiliate coupons and rewards.
- **Traffic and connections**: click traffic and the customer connections to affiliates.

## Good to know

- GoAffPro's orders endpoint filters by creation date only, so Rig re-fetches the whole order set on every run. That is how an approval that changes later is caught.
- The old payouts endpoint is gone. Rig reads GoAffPro's payments endpoint instead.
- The two tokens act together. The public token names the store and the access token authorises the request.
- To disconnect GoAffPro, click the bin icon on the source's row under `Sources & actions`. Only whoever connected the source or a workspace owner can do this, and data already synced stays in the warehouse.
